Rachael’s Jazz Band
Rachael (my daughter) has been studying with a group of musicians who have formed a Jazz band called Tardis. Here is her rendition of the old classic “Autumn Leaves” Click here to listen to this lovely recording.
Thanks for your kind comments. The band's focus is on playing at functions, weddings and special events so if you know anyone in Melbourne who's looking for a band to play at their function you can tell them about us!! We're setting up a myspace site and the recording is currently getting mastered so when it's done I'll publish some samples!!
Dellab, Wendy, Gary Vee, thanks so much. You're comments have made my day!! I'm my worst as critic I hear all the faluts and limitations to my voice so it's nice to hear something positive. A trio version of the band (vocals, bass and guitar) played at an art exhibition on Thursday night. It was lovely to play in that atmosphere, I think jazz is perfect for that. Have a great day.

GREAT recording!
I do love this song, and she's got a good voice. I'm looking forward to hearing more from them!
Omigosh, that's good....! That's one of my favourite songs. That's really lovely.

Nice sound, and I love your phrasing.
What fun! My daughter and I couldn't help but dance while we were listening to it! Great song. It's a good sound for her voice.
Thanks also to Val, glenda and Laura. Being likened to Doris Day is fabulous. You guys are too kind!

Delightful ... and autumn is coming here too!
Rachael, you have a gorgeous voice. It's so clear and vibrant and just perfect for this kind of music. Made me wanna swing. Keep it up :)
