I am deathly afraid of mice, but that one looked so cute! Was it a little baby one?

The garden is fabulous. I dream of having one of my own someday. A pipe dream for someone like me who lives in NYC and has a black thumb. Whatever I touch, I kill. Not really good for having a garden, unfortunately.

i love the garden. having started a modest one this year, i can appreciate the work required to make a garden look well-tended.

but mice? don't they bite? don't they carry rabies and black plague and such? i'd *never* touch one in the wild. nor a raccoon.

Hi ♥N & Sera
♥N -A little baby one separated from mother and found by locals on their nearby property.

They are looking after this little bush specimen.

Maybe you could grow a few plants or veggies in pots or join up with colleagues to share in a city garden plot or pot project.

Sera
This garden has been established for a long time and abuts land previously used as a dairy farm.

They spend a lot of time in the garden. The bush hopping mouse is healthy and well and like the species generally would not have any diseases transmissible to humans
best wishes

The garden pictures are wonderful but I most liked the one of the hopping mouse. I'm glad you had a wonderful time in such good company.

the baby mouse would be cute if i wasn't so afraid of rodents in general. mind you, i once had a hamster.
